Passing on wealth to others is a key objective of many families and investors. Whether this is to heirs, charities or others depends on each individual’s objectives and how they define what they want their legacy to be. A Legacy strategy helps investors understand how much they can devote to goals that extend beyond their own lifetime and how best to achieve these goals.
In this publication, we look at how women can build a strong investment strategy and portfolio to help them achieve their lifetime goals. In a world where gender gaps persist, women have the opportunity to at least partially offset such gaps with a sound investment approach.
The UBS Philanthropy Compass will take you step by step through the key questions that will shape your philanthropy. It will guide you through the questions in a structured way to help you find your own answers, whether you are new to the field or a seasoned philanthropist reviewing previous assumptions.
The challenges women breadwinners face embracing their financial clout
In our latest Own your worth survey, we found that nearly one third of high-earning women in heterosexual couples are the primary breadwinner. Yet many remain less engaged than men breadwinners in financial decision-making. How can financial participation, planning and the support of financial professionals help correct this imbalance?
What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? UBS Wealth Way starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
UBS Wealth Way is an approach incorporating Liquidity. Longevity. Legacy. strategies that UBS Financial Services Inc. and our Financial Advisors can use to assist clients in exploring and pursuing their wealth management needs and goals over different time frames. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment. Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability.
