Tom is a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant and Institutional Consultant with more than 30 years of experience working with retirement plans. He works closely with Plan Sponsors to  navigate ERISA best practices for their plan, as well as optimize plan design in order to achieve superior retirement outcomes for their participants.

Tom is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS), and is part of a select group of approximately 95 Financial Advisors authorized by UBS to provide institutional consulting services. He has been a consultant since 1987, and is considered one of the foremost experts on Multiple Employer Plans. 

Prior to beginning his career, he earned his M.B.A. in International Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a B.S. in finance with a minor in Spanish at Western Illinois University.

Valerie has been with UBS Financial Services, Inc. for over 16 years. In that time, her main goal has been to build strong, lasting relationships with clients. During the last 4 years, she has been working with the Barrington Institutional Consulting Group in providing support as they navigate the ever changing retirement plan landscape. Valerie is dedicated to providing our clients with the very best of what they need.

Valerie has over 15 years of experience in financial services and holds her Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Monica is currently a Client Service Associate and working on Tom Kret's team.  She has been with UBS for 4-1/2 years in a variety of capacities, ranging from the Branch Office Administrator, the Security Manager and the Branch Technology Liaison to this new position specializing in retirement plans.

Monica has provided leadership for her branch in community involvement, coordinating events to help people in need.  She was recognized as one of the dedicated volunteers on UBS' Season of Service Wall of Fame.  Monica has distinguished herself through her work ethic, her warmth and professionalism with clients and her performance.  She also holds a FINRA Series 7 license and is working on achieving her Series 66.

Monica has 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren.  Both her daughters and one son-in-law also work for UBS.  She has a passion for dance, especially since she owned a dance business for 25 years.  She loves spending time with family and friends and loves traveling.
