With over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, As’ad is committed to making a difference in the financial lives of clients. He has a unique perspective on the importance of knowing clients and serving their needs, a perspective learned at an early age from his father, Bishara. As’ad’s consultative relationships run deep, with many clients thinking of the team as part of their extended family. He helps clients achieve the goals that matter the most to them, their family and the future they’re shaping.
As a Senior Portfolio Manager in the UBS Portfolio Management Program, As’ad provides discretionary management of investment portfolios and tailors solutions to unique client needs. He has extensive experience in financial planning and investment management, with in-depth knowledge in all aspects of insurance strategies. Prior to joining UBS in 2012, As’ad was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.

Outside the office
Helping his community is an important part of As’ad’s life. He currently serves as Board Treasurer for Joyride Society in Phoenix and Partner with Social Venture Partners in Phoenix. He was formerly on the leadership committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Greater Arizona Man and Woman of the Year campaign as well as previously served on the Board of Directors for ResilientMe, a nonprofit organization. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, especially the Washington Commanders, and keeping active with his German shepherd and Pomeranian. As’ad and his wife recently got married in April 2021.

Bill has spent his career serving as an advocate for business owners, institutions and healthcare professionals. He specializes in the complexities of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, cash management, foundation and endowment management, and investment banking services. As an accredited institutional retirement advisor, Bill focuses on designing and implementing corporate retirement plans that improve the financial lives of employees and enhance an organization’s value.
With a deep understanding for the mechanics behind the development and management of corporate retirement plans, Bill works closely with his institutional clients to design a disciplined approach and then implement and monitor their plans. He takes great pride in helping retirement plan participants relieve some of their work-related stress, offering one-on-one financial coaching sessions on a regular basis. Prior to joining UBS in 2006, Bill served as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and as a manager for a nonprofit corporation.

Outside of work
In his free time, Bill enjoys the great outdoors, including hiking, biking and kayaking. He enriches his life with travel, where he explores new places and seeks adventures especially in Alaska and Montana. Bill is passionate about country western dancing, where he’s established a strong community of friends and developed a new skill he can use for life. He’s most proud of his two children and enjoys spending time with them and his extended family.
