Financial planning and beyond

Ashraf’s career in the financial services industry spans more than 30 years. He joined UBS in 2012 after a stint at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he acted in the capacity of Branch Assistant Manager and Sales Manager, responsible for hiring and training over 25 financial advisors. He began his career as an accountant with a Fortune 50 company and rose very quickly through the managerial ranks to become a Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer of a subsidiary of American Express. After several years of successfully co-managing and growing the subsidiary to over $1 billion in assets, he was promoted to the position of Director of Investor Relations for American Express.

While pursuing his career goals, Ashraf also pursued his M.B.A. in finance. As a Financial Advisor, with a practice that focused on businesses and high net worth clients, he was able to use his extensive financial experience and his ability to educate and help clients achieve their financial goals. He is also a Certified Retirement Plans SpecialistSM and focuses on helping businesses develop and structure retirement plans that are designed to simultaneously augment their growth, while providing a comprehensive benefit package to employers and employees alike.
