Plan design Through thoughtful plan design, partners can carve out a smaller group of employees to participate in the cash balance plan. Using our proposed structure, employees can save up to six figures, pre-tax, per year (depending on their age).
Our solution will allow all participants to invest in your proprietary fund, regardless of Qualified Purchaser or Accredited Investor status.
By utilizing a managed account or trustee directed fund our plan design satisfies the QP and AI investor standards, as well as the non-discrimination rules established by the Department of Labor.
Our plan design allows your employees to maximize their pre-tax contributions to the 401k Plan ($56,000 for 2019). Pairing the 401k Plan with a Cash Balance Defined Benefit Plan will allow a curated group of partners and employees to defer additional pretax savings.
