Focusing on financial and retirement planning for business owners and their families

As a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA) at UBS, Jonathan’s approach is planning-based and retirement-focused. He believes that every new client relationship should start with the creation of a personalized financial plan. Once a family’s goals have been established, a bespoke portfolio is designed for the achievement of those goals. In addition to wealth management for individuals, Jonathan designs and runs corporate retirement plans for small and mid-size businesses. He is skilled at working with business owners and entrepreneurs to create alignment between their professional and personal financial situations.

Entering the financial services industry in 2006 and experiencing two of the most severe stock market declines on record during his career have given Jonathan a valuable perspective. He began in this industry because he was fascinated with the wealth creation potential of the stock market. He seeks to help others understand and benefit from it, while being able to withstand its occasional downturns. Jonathan puts his clients’ best interests first and takes pride in sitting on the same side of the table with them. He spent five years at Edward Jones and joined UBS in 2011.

    Making a difference

Jonathan believes it is very important to give back to the community. He is a past president and member of his local Rotary Club, through which he helps a number of worthy community organizations. He and his family also support the local public schools and a number of other charities each year.

    Outside the office

Jonathan and his wife, Angeline, met in college. She has been with him as he has built his financial advisory practice over the years, and he could not have done it without her support. They are parents of two children, Emily and Asher, and a dog named Jasper. In his free time, Jonathan loves biking, cooking, piano, and reading.
