Jay is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor in the Private Wealth Division of UBS. He has spent more than 21 years advising entrepreneurs, businesses, charities, and high net worth families on complex investment, asset allocation, risk management, tax and philanthropic planning. Inevitably Jay and his experienced team strive to add value to already successful families and organizations to help them achieve their specific goals.
Jay is involved in a variety of organizations that serve others. He is on the Advisory Board of Accelerated Resolution Therapy International which aids in treatment for post traumatic stress. He also is a Builder for a global organization called New Story that supports the homeless in either finding them places to rent or by building them a home. Jay is also a co-founder of New World Angels, an early stage investment group supporting entrepreneurs.
Jay and his wife Christi have been married nearly 30 years and have two boys, Jake and Taylor. He enjoys most things outdoors including golf, fishing, tennis. He served on active duty in the U.S. Army, mostly overseas in Germany, as tank platoon leader and a reconnaissance scout platoon leader, retiring as an instructor. During his service, Jay earned a Ranger tab, as well as Airborne and Air Assault badges.
Jay received his Bachelors of Science in Business and a minor in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.
Matt is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor in the Private Wealth division of UBS. He has spent the last two decades building and fostering relationships with sophisticated, wealthy families and the organizations they care deeply about. By quarterbacking clear, honest, candid conversation and advice around investment, asset allocation, estate, tax and charitable planning, Matt and his team help create better outcomes for their clients.
Matt’s clients often have complex personal situations. Having a complex family himself, he relates to their situation and forms a bond and connection that creates a deep level of trust in the relationship. The process he goes through with clients is relaxed but focused, and relies on intimacy, empathy, and patience. Education is at the core of this process.
Matt and his wife Mary live in South Tampa with their 13 year old twins, Eli and Erin.
Matt received his Bachelors of Science in Finance and a minor in Economics from the University of Florida. Matt is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
David specializes in providing planning and investment advice to multi-generational families, business owners, and institutions. He partners with his clients to understand their unique needs and to formulate the best advice to help them succeed. Having been raised by a teacher and an engineer, David sees his role as a trusted educator and a thoughtful architect. He seeks to be engaged and collaborative with his clients, his partners and professional experts.
Prior to joining UBS, David spent 14 years with AB in both Institutional and Bernstein Private Wealth Management. For the last decade he supported and advised high net worth individuals and families directly as a Client Service Advisor.
David earned an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University where he played four years of varsity football. David became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2014.
Outside of the office, David spends as much time as he can with his wife Alexis and their four young children. Working from home through the pandemic has afforded some interesting challenges and priceless opportunities to grow closer to them. He especially loves coaching baseball and spending time with his new baby girl.
Joseph is a Financial Advisor at UBS Global Wealth Management. As a fiduciary, he specializes in providing investment planning and advice for high-net-worth clients, including individuals, families, business owners and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining UBS, Joseph was a member of an advisory team that managed over $1.8B in client assets at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. He held various roles including Senior Associate and Client Advisor. Prior to Bernstein, he worked on the institutional sales and trading desk for Noble Financial Capital Markets – a boutique investment bank focused on small-cap emerging growth companies.
Joseph holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, as well as his FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. He is registered as an Investment Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Florida.
Joseph was born in Seattle, WA and raised in Gainesville, FL. He and his wife, Michelle, currently live in Tampa, FL with their son, Julian. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing and watching football.
Easton is a trusted advisor for the families he serves consulting across family, business, and wealth where he provides connectivity to dedicated professionals along the way. Prior to joining UBS in 2021, Easton was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Easton is a Nashville native and a graduate of Rhodes College where he captained the men’s golf program. Outside of work, Easton serves on the board of SongwritingWith:Soldiers and is active in the local music scene. He lives in East Nashville with his dog, Charlie.
April serves as the “Chief Operating Officer” of the service team - implementing investment strategies, banking services, and additional products as well as manages day to day operations. April supports all team members so they can focus on the needs of our clients. April has a background working with high net worth families, multi-generational planning, family office services, institutional consulting, retirement planning and cash management.
Prior to joining Addicus Partners, April worked alongside an Institutional Consulting team working as a Senior Team Associate. Prior to UBS, April began her career at Merrill Lynch in Buffalo, NY.
April attended Daemen College earning her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Finance. April holds her Series 7, 63, 65, and 3 as well as her Life, Health, and Variable Annuities license. April also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Outside of work April enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, as well as taking advantage of the warm weather Tampa Bay has to offer. You can find her enjoying the trails in local parks, biking, or volunteering with Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida. April lives in Valrico, FL with her husband Ryan and their two dogs Ted (Shorkie) and Jax (Boston Terrier).
Brooke is a Client Servicing Associate for UBS Global Wealth Management. She enjoys developing meaningful relationships with clients while partnering with her advisors to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Prior to joining UBS, Brooke started her career in finance at JP Morgan Securities in Dallas, TX as a licensed Marketing Associate before transitioning into a Client Associate role. After nearly four years in Dallas, Brooke relocated back to her hometown of Tampa, FL to be an Associate for Bernstein Private Wealth Management.
Brooke earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Sports Management from Florida State University. She currently holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Outside of the office, Brooke is an avid Tampa Bay Lightning fan. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, yoga, traveling and trying new local restaurants.
Juliana serves as a Client Associate for UBS Global Wealth Management. Juliana loves the opportunity to build meaningful, impactful relationships with clients and to provide personalized solutions.
Prior to joining Addicus Partners and relocating back to Tampa, Juliana began her career in Finance at Equitable Advisors in Dallas, Texas before transferring over to Merrill Lynch as a Financial Solutions Advisor.
Juliana attended Florida State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Finance. Juliana currently holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as her Life, Health and Variable Annuities license.
Outside of work, Juliana loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as travelling, staying active, and going to the beach. She also recently rescued her 1-year old cat, Zara, who happily made the move back to Tampa with her.
Devon serves as the Team Associate for Addicus Partners. She works closely with each Financial Advisor to support all client related tasks and make sure they are taken care of in a timely manner. Devon coordinates team /client related scheduling to ensure smooth communication between the client and team. She looks forward to continuing her connections with each client.
Prior to UBS, Devon worked in the hospitality industry for 5 years in the Tampa area. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience and opportunity to learn from her previous jobs but is excited to be a part of Addicus Partners and start her journey in this new role. She attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC where she received her BA in Dance Performance and minored in Entrepreneurship.
In her free time, Devon enjoys traveling, watching the Bucs on Sundays, and spending as much time with friends and family that she can. She currently lives in Seminole Heights with her husband Carter and dog Finley where they enjoy long walks by the Hillsborough River.
