David began his wealth management career in 1996 at Smith Barney, and joined UBS Financial Services in 2012.
As both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and Chartered Financial Consultant®, the focus of David's practice has been providing comprehensive, holistic wealth management and financial planning solutions for high net-worth individuals, successful professionals, and families. He serves his clients using a Family Office model providing a broad range of services including retirement planning, equity compensation strategy for corporate executives, portfolio management and advisory services, risk management, and education funding strategies. He frequently collaborates with estate planning attorneys to help clients optimize their multi-generational legacy planning.
David strives to provide a level of personal service for his clients that is second to none, and is committed to delivering time-tested solutions to help clients meet their personal life goals and objectives. Simply put, he helps people build and preserve wealth.
David graduated from Boston University with a degree in business and resides in North Reading, MA with his wife Sharon and their children Nicholas and Aria. They are actively involved with and support numerous organizations including the Greater Boston Food Bank, Arlington Academy of Hope, Jhamtse International, and the Navy Seal Foundation.

Scot started his career in financial services with Deloitte in New York City providing equity and fixed income consulting services to financial institutions, public companies and private ventures. Scot joined UBS Wealth Management Americas in 2015 to focus on providing comprehensive wealth management and financial planning for professionals, business owners and retirees.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Scot thoroughly enjoys helping clients and their families feel organized, educated, and empowered in all things financial. His wealth management process is comprehensive, disciplined and engaging. The range of services include cash flow and retirement planning, estate and trust planning, debt management, tax planning in collaboration with a CPA, insurance and risk management, charitable giving strategies, equity ownership planning, and education planning.
As a Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional, Scot takes a proactive role in ensuring that clients' investment portfolios are appropriate based on their financial goals, risk tolerance and capital market experiences. Scot is a goals-based investor. He helps clients understand optimal asset positioning based on their specific needs and objectives. He also focuses on helping clients navigate the emotional and behavioral aspects of investing to ensure that the benefits of a long-term disciplined approach are obtained.
Scot holds a dual B.S. in finance and economics from Utah State University. He also completed an executive education program at the Yale School of Management in Investment Management Theory & Practice.
Scot lives in the greater Boston area with his wife Sarah and their children. When not working, you can find him actively engaged in volunteer efforts in his community and church or enjoying a day of snow skiing, water skiing or out playing golf, tennis, and basketball.
As a Financial Advisor, Nick serves as a resource for clients, working alongside David Uva, Scot Marsden, and the rest of the team. Nick assists clients with investment strategy, asset management, and client service.
Nick currently holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Before joining the team at The Uva Wealth Management Group, Nick began his career with UBS Financial Services in 2021, working as a Financial Advisor in the UBS Wealth Advice Center at the US corporate headquarters in Weehawken, NJ. During his time at the Wealth Advice Center, Nick provided investment guidance and assistance to UBS clients from across the US.
Nick graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Chinese Language and Culture studies. Outside of the office, Nick enjoys rooting for his favorite Boston sports teams and playing golf.
David has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 20 years and joined UBS in 2009. He graduated from Merrimack College with a B.A. degree in Psychology and his past employment includes Computershare, SG Cowen, Morgan Stanley, Manulife Financial and Smith Barney. He holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
He was a CSA Coach, serving to help other UBS Client Service Associates optimize their performance and client service efforts. David is proud to be a UBS Pursuit of Excellence Award winner and was also a member of the CSA Coach Advisory Council. He grew up on the south shore of Boston and currently lives in Roslindale with his wife, Racheal. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing and mountain biking.
Zach began his financial services career seven years ago with Fidelity Investments, where he assisted high net worth clients with account maintenance, asset movement, and trading. He then worked as an Internal Wholesaler for GW&K Investment Management before joining UBS in November 2021.
Zach assists the team in a variety of ways including client service, asset transfers, trading, and investment research.
Zach grew up in Weston, CT and graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2014. He lives in Boston and in his spare time, Zach enjoys snowboarding and rooting for his favorite sports teams, the New York Yankees and New York Giants, much to the chagrin of his Boston office mates.

Before joining the team at The Uva Wealth Management Group, Rich enjoyed a 25 year career on Wall Street, most of which was spent at UBS Investment Bank. His professional trading experiences encompass a wide array of products – options, commodities, currencies, U.S. equities, and foreign equity securities transacted in virtually every stock market across the globe.
During his years at UBS, his roles included Senior Derivatives Trader and Head of International Equities Trading and Sales. His area of specialization was managing the risk elements of the trading business – from the appropriate use of the bank’s balance sheet in facilitating its institutional clients to the myriad regulatory trading and order execution requirements in most of the world’s stock markets.
Rich’s role within the team is to serve as an additional resource for clients, sharing his perspective and insight on market behavior, investment strategy, and economics. He enjoys analyzing and discussing the ongoing stream of economic news and macro issues that drive global markets and stands ready to help clients make sense of market behavior as it relates to their own unique financial goals.
Rich holds a B.A. Economics, Harvard University and MBA Finance, NYU Stern School of Business.
When not working, Rich enjoys traveling, fitness training, and spending time in the outdoors.
